Young Researchers School on Image Processing and Computer Vision
Image Processing and Computer Vision have recently fostered research in both pure and applied mathematics, ranging from signal analysis to effective algebraic geometry. This three-day Young Researchers School will be an occasion for PhD students and postdocs from different fields of mathematics and applied sciences to interact and learn about this thriving research line from prominent experts. Senior scientists are also welcome to attend.
Morning sessions will be devoted to lectures delivered by specialists. The afternoons will instead take the form of contributed talks, followed by hands-on discussions of problems and exercises, where all the participants will be actively involved and challenged. The interested participants may apply for one of the contributed talks slots: material source for these will appear on this webpage in due time.
- July 24-26, 2017
The conference will take place in
- University of Tübingen, Germany
- Campus Morgenstelle, Building C (Room: TBA).
The campus is most conveniently reached by bus (walking 20 min. uphill). The bus stop is called "BG Unfallklinik". You can use the bus lines
- 5, 13, 18 and 19 from the train station,
- 13, 18 and 19 from bus stop "Parkhaus König" or "Rümelinstraße" (which are close to the old town).
Registration is free but mandatory. To register, please send an email before July 10, 2017 to
specifying your name, your position (PhD student, postdoc...), your home institution and your contacts (address and email adress). Please also state if you would like to contribute one of the afternoon talks.
