Mittwoch, 18.02.2015: Some rigidity results for Static metrics

We present a new approach to the study of asymptotically flat static metrics in general relativity. Our method works in every dimension and it is based on a conformal splitting technique, which has been previously applied by the authors to the study of the geometric aspects of classical potential theory. The results are obtained in collaboration with V. Agostiniani.
