Donnerstag, 04.05.2017: The Bogolubov ground state energy

We present a method to calculate the ground state energy of the Bogolubov Hamiltonian associated with a homogeneous gas of repulsively interacting bosons, which are confined in a 3-dimensional box. The calculation via finite dimensional quadratic Hamiltonians is, for example, described in the lecture notes about many body quantum mechanics by Jan Philip Solovej.
