Background and Research Interests
I completed my Integrated Master's degree in Applied Physics from NIT-Surat, India in 2023. I am currently a doctoral candidate under the supervision of Prof. Roderich Tumulka, with my research supported by a DAAD fellowship.
I worry a lot about Quantum Mechanics- it's limitations as a theory and also it's physical interpretation. At present, I am working on the 'arrival time' problem, where I aim to develop a theoretical description of a quantum-mechanical toy model of a N+1 (detector+particle) system and investigate whether suitable limits/regimes can lead to a macroscopic (possibly idealized) detector description.
