Research

I am a tropical geometer enjoying enumerative geometry (in particular Hurwitz theory, Gromov-Witten theory and mathematical physics), convex geometry, computational algebraic geometry, real algebraic geometry and much more. I like to use tropical geometry as an efficient combinatorial tool to organize degenerations in algebraic geometry.
