Montag, 02.02.2026: Volume preserving mean curvature flow of capillary hypersurfaces

We study the evolution of a convex capillary hypersurface in a half-space with prescribed contact angle at the boundary. The speed is given by a general positive power of the mean curvature minus its average, so that the enclosed volume remains constant. We show that the solution remains convex under the evolution, exists for all times and converges smoothly to a spherical cap as time goes to infinity.
