Background
After completing a B.Sc. in Computational Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Nanoscience at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, I pursued a M.Sc. in Mathematical Physics in Tübingen. Under the La Caixa Foundation's postgraduate scholarship, I am now working on a Ph.D. in Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roderich Tumulka.
The Ph.D. project consists in developing and proving the usefulness of rigorous "pilot-wave theories" with a field ontology. In particular, we are developing the mathematical tools for a QFT in a "Schrödinger picture" —i.e., a QFT that explicitly employs wavefunctions over field configuration-spaces as its state-vectors.
