Background

After completing a B.Sc. in Computational Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Nanoscience at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, I pursued a M.Sc. in Mathematical Physics in Tübingen. Under the La Caixa Foundation's postgraduate scholarship, I am now working on a Ph.D. in Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roderich Tumulka and Prof. Dr. Stefan Teufel.

The Ph.D. project consists in developing and proving the usefulness of rigorous "pilot-wave theories" with a field ontology. In particular, we are developing the mathematical tools for a QFT in a "Schrödinger picture" —i.e., a QFT that explicitly employs wavefunctions over field configuration-spaces as its state-vectors.

Teaching

Winter Term 2025/26

Talks

  •  Rigorous Schrödinger Quantum Mechanics of Countably Many Degrees of Freedom. Will be given on 9 January 2026 at the Workshop on The Ontology of Fields (Ludwig Maximilians University Munich), organized by Mario Hubert.

  • What could one mean by "L2(R^\infty,d^\infty x)" as a wavefunction space? [slides]. Given on 11 December 2025 at the Mathematical Physics Oberseminar (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen).

  • Towards a Rigorous Interacting Fermion QFT: The "Dirac-Hilbert Ocean" [slides]. Given on 8 July 2025 at the Mathematical Physics Colloquium (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen).

  • The Field Ontology in QFT [handout]. Given on 29 October 2024 at the seminar Advanced Topics in Quantum Mechanics (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen) of Roderich Tumulka.

  • The Fermionic Position Operators and the Dirac Sea [slides]. Given on 16 July 2024 at the seminar Foundations of Quantum Mechanics (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen) of Roderich Tumulka.
